Privacy Notice

What we collect when you use this site, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

Last updated: 19 August 2026

Who we are

The Builders Residence is a residential property developer operating in Abuja, Federal Capital Territory, Nigeria. If you have a question about this notice or about information we hold about you, contact us at info@thebuildersresidence.com.

What we collect

We only collect what you type into one of our forms. Depending on the form, that is:

  • Your name, email address, and telephone number.
  • Your message or enquiry.
  • Context you choose to give us — your budget range, investment timeline, preferred consultation date, the development you are interested in, or how you found us.
  • Technical information recorded automatically with your submission: your IP address and browser identifier. We keep these to detect and block automated abuse of our forms.

We do not use advertising or analytics trackers on this site, and we do not set cookies beyond the one required to keep your session secure while submitting a form.

Why we use it

To respond to your enquiry, to send you the information you asked for, and to contact you about developments and opportunities relevant to the interest you registered. That is the entire purpose.

WhatsApp groups

After submitting a partner, investor, or consultation form, you are invited to join a WhatsApp group. Joining is optional. If you join, your telephone number and profile name become visible to other members of that group, and your participation is additionally governed by WhatsApp's own privacy terms. You can leave at any time.

Who we share it with

Nobody. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. It is accessible only to the people within our organisation who need it to respond to you, and to the email provider that delivers our correspondence.

How long we keep it

We retain enquiry records for as long as we have an active relationship with you, and for a reasonable period afterwards for our own business records. Ask us to delete your information and we will, unless we are legally required to keep it.

Your rights

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act, you may ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, ask us to delete it, or tell us to stop contacting you. Email us and we will action the request.

Security

This site is served over an encrypted connection and submissions are stored on access-controlled systems. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send us financial account details, identification numbers, or passwords through these forms. We will never ask you for them by email.

Changes

If we change this notice we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be flagged on the site.
